Thanks for the tip, atexp. I grabbed the last copy from my local JB today.

Although he didn't know about this particular issue, the staffer said they only tended to keep one copy of each Enterprise season in stock due to its low sales so far. If there indeed won't be any available inventory at Paramount, what's on the shelves in your local JB may be all that's left.

I take it TNG is selling better and we don't have to worry about this happening with that show too? Info from Paramount would be much appreciated, adamclark. Has their renewed push of Star Trek not been the success they hoped, I wonder? The low prices for TNG suggest otherwise, but perhaps that's unrelated.

ENT is also selling in low numbers in the US. I hope this doesn't discourage CBS from proceeding with DS9...

I think they're judging whether to proceed on DS9 and Voyager based more on the sales of TNG since those shows, like TNG, would have to be remastered. I think the main reason Enterprise is being released on blu-ray is because it can be and for completist sake. No real work other than putting it on disc has to be done so why not put it out since there will be at least some return for a very minimal investment.

A lack of sales isn't irrelevant for Enterprise but it certainly is far less troubling than it would be if TNG were meeting the same fate. I'm not fully convinced the other 2 shows will get the remaster treatment, but if they don't, it'll be for reasons other than Enterprise's low sales.

I spoke to Paramount today but the person I needed to speak to wasn't there so they sent an email to him about my enquiry. I mentioned about the JB exclusives of this show and how you needed to purchase all four seasons in order to get the plaque. So if they stop releasing the Blu-rays, no one will be getting them. They said he probably won't be in tomorrow or next week. But as soon as I get a response from him, I'll post it here.
