I received some items today from All Your Music through Amazon UK Marketplace

The digibook was packed fine, but the other two titles were in such tight plastic, and because of eco cases, the sleeves are both damaged

It's bad enough that these titles aren't released in the UK, and then to get them cheaper than Amazon US, I have to use the Marketplace where due to the packaging, I can almost guarantee that the item will be damaged and will have to go back

I thought these eco cases were supposed to be good for the environment, but I think they use them to put people off importing. The items wouldn't even be good enough to sell as used

I'm going to re-order Gentleman's Agreement from Amazon US, with the slowest delivery for £15.07 (£2.67 more) and The Best Years Of Our Lives for £13.47 (£3.63 more) - a total of £6.30

That's a very limited edition slipcase Sinthetic has there. Partly because it's home made

and what funds you must have...I've often wondered what kind of job/income you have.

To have a collection such as yours, and to buy the amount of Blu-rays that you do every week, you must have one hell of a well paid job, or your a secret millionaire.

Did you ever consider the possibility that he probably saves his money instead of blowing it every chance that he gets?

Can you consider buying Blu Rays nearly every day as 'saving money'?

What makes you think he buys blu-rays nearly everyday?

You know what? Sod it.
Tried injecting a bit of logic into this conversation, but I see that I'm wasting my time.

First Black Friday purchase (Hobbit Extended) arrived today alongside a couple of batches of Amazon 3 for 17 titles. Didn't really expect any slips, so surprised that Cosmopolis had one. Really just a general bunch of titles I've had my eye on.

Did you get that in the offer yesterday? That's quick if so!

Edit, just seen your on Prime in the black friday thread. I had a quick dispatch email from them so was (stupidly) hoping it might turn up today

You're 100% spot on. I dont buy BR's every day. They're organised group buys which are at much larger savings than the ebay route. Over titles are bought from zavvi with quidco cash back and others at hmv with purecard. Other sainsbury titles using nectar card.

A spreadsheet for the next 6 months is already produced with ins and outs and the saving pot. Recently sold PS3 and a shed load of DVD's and slipless BR's to CEX and sold a lot of UV codes.

So you are spot on.
