I agree, putting the speakers on the rear ceiling would sound amazing. The other locations you picked are far too close to the seating position, plus the ceiling position has the potential to look far classier.

Have you thought about making brackets to mount the rears on the railing behind the sofa?

thats where I would put em. They look to be at just the right height also.

But if you do, make for sure those speakers are glued down! don't wanna bump them off into oblivion down below.

Yea i dont know how to set up the Rears..

I have Bic Acoustehc surrounds. 2 pair of them..

I think if you could create some sort of bracket for that railing, that would be your best bet...... otherwise get stands for them maybe.....

Imagine making stands with heavy weights on the bottom, so the stands extended out OVER the railing..... man, it'd be like they were "Floating"

Yea.. I rather have them not dig into the wood. Above would be the best right? And then i would set them up there. How do i know where to put them.

I bougth 2 of the same pairs.

In the pics it shows which ones are supposed to go on the left and right but whwat do i do if i have 2 left and 2 right

get some nice wood, stain it...cut a couple wood support brackets (for both sides of rail) to hold the base board in place, drill it just small enough to hold it sturdy (later on if you move or take the speakers down you can just fill the holes in)

Place speaker on top and wala ~

...at least thats how I envisioned it.
