Transformers seems to be the only option that is adding votes to try to catch up with the biggies. (sorry to bring it back to the topic of the thread occasionally)

If it takes them a year or two to get LOTR in 3D or near 3D presentation, it will be worth the wait. Jackson, Taylor, and everybody involved have confirmed that it was filmed with 3D capability in mind... they actually had plans of using Return of the King as a launch vehicle for IMAX 3D, but the cinema industy was not ready.

Those movies are exactly what I had in mind when I started saving up for my home theater four years ago.
