But for now I can't really find anything like that under 10k that is
Actually I've found this and not very promising for now
No all Sony SXRD rear projectors are 60HZ with current models having only a 1080P/60 input.
Currently the only Sony that is available for sale with a 1080P/24 input and refreshes at 96HZ is the VPL-VW50 Front Projector. Hopefully Sony in September 2007 or September 2008 will introduce new models of SXRD rear projectors that will support 1080P/24 input with refresh rates of 96HZ or 120HZ. I would also like to see Sony improve the contrast ratio of the SXRD front and rear projectors to 20:000:1 or better.
I am thinking about purchasing the Pioneer PRO-150FD 60 inch Plasma in September that is rumored to have at the very minimum a 20:000:1 contrast ratio. Hopefully Sony will improve on the SXRD contrast ratios this year or I might be getting a Pioneer instead. With the Pioneer’s awesome contrast ratio I will take my chances with possible burn in issues. The risk is worth it.
