Post Warner is seriously overlooking this one for Blu-ray...

One of my favorite movies of all time that keeps getting better and better every time I watch it, Warner Bros. should hurry up and release "The Outsiders" in the new 'Complete Novel' edition! The movie brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it, and Matt Dillon blew me away with his performance in the movie (years before his Oscar nomination for "Crash")! And then you have the always excellent talents of Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise (before "Top Gun" made him a star), Diane Lane, and Leif Garrett! Warner Bros., you better listen up and listen good...This should be reason enough to hurry up and release this childhood classic on Blu-ray. It doesn't matter if you do the coffee book edition that we're all trying to get accustomed to! But please, hurry up with "The Outsiders"!

True. I would need The Wanderers to go along with that.

Yeah, it's not on Blu-ray yet. But let's hope that Warner does something about this real soon.

We never did read the book. We read Rumble Fish but had to watch The Outsiders when she wanted us to see it after reading it.

I prefer watching Outsiders than Rumble Fish(didn't like it)

I remember The Outsiders and To Kill a Mockingbird in middle school...both of which contributed to my love of reading. This definitely needs to hit blu with documentary and the cast coming in to talk about it!

I was JUST quoting that the other day at work.

I was all "Stay gold ponyboy...stay gold." And NOBODY knew what I was talking about.

"I am....alone...I am...utterly....alone."
