Good thing I prefer Content of just packaging.
I get to trade in my DigiPaks but keep the store exclusive Disks and now have an easier to open, disk better accessible package.

No one said this is what is actually happening. I don't see them doing regular amaray releases, that's not what HBO does. These re-releases are most likely either the same exact release or non-combo pack releases.

They are very likely the exact same sets as before. My guess is they could be versions without DVD copies, as HBO is releasing True Blood Season 6 and possibly True Detective Season 1 with just Blu-ray + Digital Copies.

I think everyone in this thread is freaking out over nothing. The person who said these were amaray releases was just speculating as there is no way he would know unless he is involved in the production of these sets.

Anyone know if these are going to be digipacks? If they switched over to Amaray style cases I'll pick up the re-releases.

Hi, I posted this in the True Blood thread but I don't think that anybody will be able to answer it but my question links in with this thread, hope that nobody minds. I live in the UK and our True Blood blu-ray releases are just amarays with slips, I've decided to import the US digipacks because they are awesome. I was just wondering if the recent True Blood re-releases (April 1st 2014) like the recent GOT ones, are digipacks or just amarays with slips? I don't want to buy them if they are and I'll go for the combo packs (The new ones are just cheaper). I was also wondering (if they are just amarays with slips) if Season 7 will be released in a digipack format? Thanks so much if you can help
