Picked up the regular Four-disc version at work for $30 plus discounts. Has lots of extras and the movies, it'll do for me, I think.

There isn't a 4-disc version.
What are you talking about?

I had no idea that a 4 disc version was released.

So, is it basically a set that includes the 2-disc version of "Spider-Man 3" then?

Looks like it, yeah. Spidey 1 & 2 have extra's on their disc's as well so it must be the newer re-issue.

I've just watched an unboxing video of it, and that does seem to be the case.
I like that it's thinner than the UK boxset, leaving more shelf room. "Spider-Man 2" and "Spider-Man 3" are region locked to A though in that set.

I wonder if the UK will eventually get a release of the 4-disc set...

I mean, I've already got the 2012 boxset, with the bonus features disc for "Spider-Man 3" added into the "Spider-Man 3" amaray case, but I would prefer all 4 discs in a thinner boxset.

I picked up that set. It's what Sony should have released out of the gate: all three films with all the extras ever released on blu, without disgusting artwork. It's still missing some of the DVD content, but I can live without that.

It's nice packaging, provided you don't have a problem with digipacks where the discs slide in sleeve-style (I know some people are concerned about discs getting scratched/dropped). The outside is a slipbox with the opening on the side. It's kinda thin, but it's embossed & looks classy. The inside fold-out is glossy, and the discs all have the "web" design on them.

Does the Blu have the Easter egg where McFarlane talks about his webbing?
