Blu-ray Ninja

I think it's part of the cyclical cycle - similar to the ups and downs on the TV on DVD/Blu-ray market.
I know that personally, I rarely get excited about new shows any more because so few of them make it to enduring series. So I watch less and wait for them to get a few years under their belt, and then catch up. I think a lot of folks do that, so that just helps erode ratings, which, of course...then leads to shows getting cancelled sooner. It's like TV on DVD/Blu because of the same "you burned me too many times" thing, where folks stopped buying the first season or two unless it was sure the rest are coming - which leads to lower initial sales, which - then - leads to later seasons coming out. Thankfully, on Blu, they seem to be going the "whole series" route - they seemed to have learned how to navigate around that issue. |

we only watch two shows these days. Walking Dead and Once Upon a Time.
It's hard to find time to watch anything else even AFTER recording them. But both of my shows are safe. |
