Respectfully disagree. I understand why you would feel that way and I would most certainly consider Lennon and McCartney as two of the greatest stongwriters of all time (certainly the greatest songwriting duo). However when considering great voices in rock history, they never come to mind for me. Infact, I'm not even sure if The Beatles would really be considered classic rock. It's like they're in a category all their own.
