I've never seen it and would like to. I'm sure by the time it is released, I'll be so amped up about it coming that it will be a sure buy.

They should have gone with the poster that's listed on their site. I can't complain, though. I've been waiting for this for so long.

The rest.. well, it's not their best November slate.

Probably similar to the Yojimbo/Sanjuro box.

I'm definitely in for L'Avventura. Is It Happened One Night confirmed, or was that one just suspected? EDIT: Awesome!

I may give the Hellman westerns a spin as well... I liked Two Lane Blacktop, but it felt cold and distant. Can anyone who's seen these two westerns compare them to anything else?

Seems quiet here on an announcement day!

Great releases! I'm very excited, but It Happened One Night is the one that makes me happiest.

Nicholson worked with Antonioni on The Passenger. Is The Passanger finally getting the blu ray treatment?!

Well, no, it wouldn't be. The Yojimbo/Sanjuro box has two separate cased discs in a slipbox, and the films are available separately. In this situation, there are two films on one Blu-ray disc in a single case.

Count me in for L'Avventura, It Happened One Night, The Shooting/Ride the Whirlwind, and, probably, Tootsie.

Good month!

Ditto.
I don't really care for the others. Shame there's no Truffaut or De Sica though.

This is from the original DVD release also. As much as I want The Passenger out on BLU this doesn't confirm it.

Ahhhhh!

I was playing The Last of Us for like a third time or something and I forgot all about announcements. I didn't expect them to come this soon, but cool line-up!

I'm definitely in for L'Avventura, It Happened One Night, and Tootsie. I'll watch the Monte Hellman films on Amazon Instant Video, as they are available for free and I don't really like his films, and I'll try to track down Les Blank on some other video streaming website so that I don't have to buy it, as it seems like something I wouldn't enjoy.

I'm glad people are excited about Tootsie. I vaguely remember the film when I was a child.. idk... it's hard to get excited for Tootsie. I mean... Tootsie?!

Twilight Time has a better slate of films coming for November.
