True Blood. They don't have a 300 character roster to kill off and the twists were better.

A few month ago I got Game of Thrones Season 2 & 3 on Blu-ray. I watched episodes 201 & 202, and then accidentally skipped to 303. I didn't notice I had skipped a season until after I took the disc out of the system... I haven't watched the show since.
