I'm a huge Frogs fan! Can't wait!!

Usually, I wouldn't like them putting a franchise movie (Food of the Gods) and an unrelated film together, but since I believe Warner has their cloven hooves wrapped tightly around Gnaw: Food of the Gods II, and there's no release in sight, I think this is okay. Plus Frogs isn't tied to any franchise, so even if Gnaw is ever released, it would screw up the order of my collection.

On another note, I believe I'm OCD...

Food of the Gods II is with Lionsgate..which licensing wise is just as bad as WB

YES!!! I grew up in NYC, and the 4:30 movie was choice viewing after getting homework done. They'd play things like Empire of the Ants, Food of the Gods, The Blob (1958) and many other cult/sci-fi & horror movies.

They'd play different genres, every week. The funniest was when they needed like 4 or 5 days to air Cleopatra!!

I've got the old Frogs DVD lying around, which I never got around to watching all the way through for some reason. Maybe it's time to give it a spin and watch the whole film to see if I should build up some anticipation for this release. I've seen Food of the Gods and enjoy it, it's not necessarily a favorite but it's still fun. I think part of the reason I never saw Frogs all the way through was the PQ on the DVD was crap.

Frogs is actually fun. It's intense in a few scenes. But it's kinda a ripoff of The Day of the Animals, set in the Everglades. Wish they would have paired up Frogs with Tentacles, and left TFOTG with Empire of the Ants.

Both unrelated films ! Frogs was sort of an answer to Godzilla vs the Smog Monster in regards to pollution - I think it was a double bill a long long time ago.. I like that its more than just Frogs involved.. and Sam Elliott stars with Ray Milland ! Sold !

Actually FOOD OF THE GODS should be paired with VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS. It's also based on the HG WELLS novel FOOD OF THE GODS - and it's another AIP film that MGM had in the same package.
Really a triple feature HG WELLS release could be done including EMPIRE OF THE ANTS
There was a sequel released for FOOD OF THE GOD entitled GNAW: FOOD OF THE GODS II.
(I kid you not!)

Now all we need is SIDEWINDER ONE, WHEN YOU COMIN BACK, RED RYDER and PRAY FOR THE WILDCATS to go with STARCRASH. That and someone to create a custom thick cardstock box for all the movies to fit in.

There's a possibility this one is coming from Scorpion via Kino

Love the classic "nature gone wrong" flicks from the 60's and 70's, so I'll have to have this.

Next, would love to see 'Willard' released on Blu ...

Looks like they are releasing Empire of the Ants but decided to pair it with Jaws of Satin. I've never heard of the latter, but if you ask me, they should have paired it with Tentacles. Tentacles was such a bummer because it really did have a good cast but they spent so little on effects and it shows. It could have actually been a good movie.

I was really surprised to see Frogs and Food of the Gods on the same disc. Two great American International flicks.

And where is "Willard" and "Ben" from Cinerama releasing?
