"Postal" to be released on Blu-ray August 26 - Blu-ray Forum

Our good friends at DVDActive.com has just announced an August 26 Blu-ray release date for Uwe Boll's comedy "Postal".

Like most of us, I've lost all respect for Uwe Boll after "House of the Dead", "Alone in the Dark", and "BloodRayne", but after seeing the trailer for "Postal", I have to say that the movie looks hilarious. But still, "Postal" is an Uwe Boll movie, and I'll have to rent it with caution first.

I'm wanting it. Vivendi haven't released anything so I've no idea if it is region free, but I hope they won't be stupid enough to cut out a good portion of their potential sales. I keep my eye out for news on the region status, but nada.

Due to the fact that Postal 2 was just amazing - im buying this. Not only will i be buying it, but i'll be paying the full probably $39.99 price tag down here in Canada just so i can see it the day it comes out like i did with Cloverfield.

If it is available in Blockbuster, I will give it a rent just to see how bad it is.

I believe Uwe predicted this movie was going to make more money than TDK.

I just watched it.

It's probably Uwe Boll's best work. But not surprisingly, it's still a rental at best.

Actually it was Indy 4 he was boasting about beating. It opened up against Indy in limited release the day after Indy came out back in May. He bragged about it beating Indy before he found out his wide release was only going to be limited for Postal.

That is not to say he didn't say it would beat TDK cause he would in fact be crazy enough to think that as well.

I'll be checking this out through Netflix. Uwe is a disaster at all times, but a fun disaster. He is way more interesting than any movie he has ever made. I tend to watch his stuff for laughs and would never buy one of his movies. The Postal preview however did seem crazy over the top funny and could be amusing.

no doubt they are terrible but they entertain me and thats why i watch movies
