Eagerly awaiting for this BluRay. I loved the coloring of the film, especially in the village environments.

Hats off to the DOP - George C Williams. Cinematography is just top notch. Especially in the fight scenes. He takes Vijay's screen presence to a whole new level. Even Chennai International Airport looks amazing in the 1st song.

Overall the film was good and delivered a good social message

I highly doubt the film is running on movie reel in cinemas. Cause i saw the movie in cinemas today and didn't even notice a single movie reel scratches or lines and the quality was like bluray copy and not like analog cinema reel copy. I think its on digital media. I'm not sure about cinemas in India though. Can anyone verify this?

Yes it is. Ayngaran through their Twitter page posted a photo of the Kaththi DCP in a France Cinema

Just seen this, not a typical vijay film.

Did like the action/fight scenes but it's really a social messsage orientated film.

I hope it doesn't get remade. It is pretty nice film on its own, and after seeing Akshay Kumar...oh god please not again.

I would hate a remake with any of the above mentioned I think.

Maybe a younger hero (maybe Varun Dhavan, ehh just maybe).

But the remake is only worth it if Murugadoss actually develops Samantha's character and gives Jeeva a bit more legitimate screen time to show his genius. But, considering how Holiday stripped Govinda and Sonakshi of any relevance to the story, a Bollywood remake will probably be an even worse rendition of Kaththi.

Varun Dhavan , he is way too young for this role & he would not carry off for this role.. may be murugadoss should try out vijay only , but again accent, dubbing all matters ... any1 else ???

yea samanthas character was waste & even the songs was like they need to put it , so they went ahead,

few songs can be chopped off in remake

Hope this BD comes with the deleted scenes, since a lot of scenes from the trailer and teaser are missing. Or even a director's cut would be awesome

You should just hope that the BD comes at all, nevermind deleted scenes and director's cut.

What do they mean uncut? Does that mean with random deleted scenes too? I hope I can watch just the theatrical cut.

But blu-ray is blu-ray, won't argue too much :P
