We also don't know how he played. Could have just run and gunned his way through and not have taken his time.

I'll judge myself once the game gets here. Plus I don't know about anyone else but FPS have high replay value for me.

Aren't most of the campaigns for COD and BF about that length? I can't recall for sure but it seems like they're always very short. Anyway, I don't use the MP aspect at all but if the graphics and sound are really good (signficantly better than the last one), I'll probably pick it up at some point.

Yeah, from what I gather this is normal for COD and something that should not be surprising people.

I thought campaigns in previous games (before Ghosts) were more in the 8-10 hour range? I seem to remember that it took me longer to finish those than 5 hours.

I think I beat Modern Warfare 2 in about 5 hours. 1 and 3 took a bit longer, as did Black Ops. I never beat Ghosts, but I primarily buy these games for the multiplayer anyway.

Last one was @ 8 hours long if you didn't rush it.

I'm as big a COD fan as anyone but after watching the previews; I am not excited about this one. I will probably only pick it up if the majority of my friends get it.

I'm actually kind of excited about it. It looks like it took a few cues from Titanfall, which was a good game, but seriously lacked depth. I think Call of Duty's shooting mechanics are better, and that jumping around like rabbits on crack might actually make it more fun.

Most of my friends do not agree, so it looks like I'm going lone wolf on this one.

The jumping thing is what throws it off the most for me.
