Boy, The Matrix sure had a huge effect.
About -9%.

~70% is one of BD's best weeks ever. That's amazing.

The support Blu-ray buy-a-thon had an effect, but simply not much of one on Amazon?

I'm told there are six BD players coming out in Q4 and four of them are likely to be inexpensive (a Korean, two Chinese, and Funai from Japan).

We know the SRP of the new Sony is likely a starting point with the intent to ramp down retail over the year as necessary.

BD is winning without slashing the prices. And I suspect as long as that continues the BDA are going to try to not drop prices too quickly.

We already know the flood of exclusive major new releases that will be coming. If POTC 1 + 2 sold 23K a piece in a week for a catalog title, how many will POTC 3 sell?
