Did you end up selling the old version? Or are you keeping both?

I'm currently debating selling off the old version...

Unless you're dying to clear up some shelf space, there is zero reason to do without the original release, if for no other reason than to always have point of reference/preference as to what color timing suits you best.

Forget directors, auteurs, other people... It's you sitting there, basking in the film... If you don't know which color timing works best for you just yet, or feel like either works depending on your mood or even the time of day, then you'll always be able to choose and truly experience the film as you so wish it in that moment.
