Why choose ? the cool thing about multiple Steelbook versions is getting several different versions. And only 2 makes it simpler to get both

Sounds obsessive to me. I wouldnt want more than one version of the same release myself unless there was an actual difference with whats on the disc (different version of the film, different transfer etc).

EDIT - unless its Blade Runner of course. Rules dont count then

Does the Blade Runner steelbook have any features on it ? Or do you have to go with the collector's edition ?

Depends on how much you like Blade Runner. The steelbook is just the Final Cut disc with commentaries on the disc.

If you really like Blade Runner though you will definitely need either the US digibook or the collector's edition etc.

Ive got the steelbook waiting for me to pick up of course despite having the briefcase already and expecting the collectors edition for Xmas...

Just checked my AmazonUK cart, as I think I'll move on the Akira SB, and all of the WB SB's I had in my cart went up from £17 to £22. Oh well, guess I'll wait, and see if the price goes down.

Yah except they won't let you buy with Paypal. Been trying to place an order for almost a week.

Zavvi and The Hut both have some weird error that blocks Paypal, even though their customer service said their Paypal system is working fine.

Zavvi uses horrid bubble wrap type mailers, I wouldnt call it a bubble mailer as its very thin. I stopped getting SteelBooks from them due to damage and impossible to get them to receive a return to exchange. They say they never got it

Anyways, I uploaded pictures ....all but Blade Runner

What's Zavvi's packaging like for steelbooks these days in the uk ?

Tempted to order Troy & Blade Runner with a discount code but don't want to have to deal with their horrid customer service if they turn up damaged.
