I just saw this one. Wow excellent 3D on par with the first one. Great depth, some cool pop outs. This is how a 3D movie should look like. Fun movie too. Gonna watch it a couple of more times before it leaves the theater then i am so getting the 3D Blu-Ray
Scores movie 4/5
3D 4/5 too

Just awesome stuff really hope there will be another. These movies are so much fun and the 3D is simply fantastic as well.

I saw it last night in IMAX 3D. Wow, 3-D is just as good as the first one if not better. High Medium to Strong throughout. Fun summer popcorn movie. Unfortunately, it seems to not be performing well at the box office as the first one, which is disappointing. Some are speculating that they should have released the film in August like the first one was two years ago. There's too much competition right now in June. Sandwiched between X-Men, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and Finding Dory.

I think Paramount sacrificed TMNT to save Ben Hur, which has been delayed.

Ben Hur delayed? Interesting, thanks for the news. I bet you're right about the order of the release.

3D you'll likely enjoy.

Nice, thanks for the details on your 3D viewing. I agree, fantastic 3D.

Thanks Revgen. Not sure when the rest of the world aside from a few countries will get this in theaters, but hopefully asap. Not sure why it wasn't a simultaneous release worldwide as I believe part 1 was. June was a mistake IMO, but that's business.

Yep. According to Variety, it was supposed to come out in February, but they changed it to August, partially because TMNT did so well that month in 2014. So far, TMNT hasn't done too bad, #1 this week in sales, beating X-Men and Alice, but IMHO it could have been a lot better in a different timeslot.

Delays that are done not because of production, but because the studio is worried about losing money can be a bad sign. Perhaps Ben Hur didn't test well with preview audiences and Paramount is hoping an August timeslot will help.

Thanks Revgen. So it was supposed to be released in February but pushed to August. Definitely clears things up with the Turtles getting pushed forward to June's heavy competition month.

Prime Focus updated their website with an article about their work on the film. Of note; the CGI was converted, not native, though they did have mathematical "z-depth" information to work from and referenced their work on the first film to make the shaping of the Turtles consistent.

Also interesting is the fact that Prime Focus added particle effects like floating dust in the sewer hideout and extra water splashes in the river to enhance the 3D effect.

Extra 10% off today. Does not apply to previous orders.

EDIT: The 10% is no longer showing up in the cart, even though it's still advertised.

EDIT2: The "Chat" guy told me to submit the order, and then he would adjust the price. He did so, although the 10% only applies to the price minus the $5 gift card.

EDIT3: The web site is now properly subtracting 10% of the entire price.

Thanks for posting, seems to be working fine from my Desktop, cancelled my Captain America and Ninja Turtles pre-orders and reordered.

For Target's 1 day deal today only, 10% off of $10 is 1 dollar, so if you got a $60 purchase, that would be $6 off. Plus they throw in a gift card.

Great I just hope that the 3D is as good as the first films 3D. Really looking forward to seeing this. We in the UK get in on October the 24th.

This still holds up as my favorite 3D movie of 2016. Can't wait to watch it again in strong 3D.

It sort of almost doubled its budget in theaters, but not enough to make a profit. I haven't heard any talk about a 3rd film, but I have a feeling it could be possible if they aim again for August instead of June in theaters.

Budget $135 million
Box office $240.6 million

They moved it up due to Ben Hur, but the Turtles 3D would've fit better in August, yes. Then again:
TMNT Out of the Shadows 3D will be on blu ray 3D on September 20, 2016.

Cap Civil War 3D September 13, 2016, one week before.
