That's like saying Nolans Batman trilogy isn't definitive because of Batfleck.
Truth is, they'll constantly chop and change and re-invent down the line. The truth is, Spiderman when done by Raimi for that generation that got to watch and loved it because they're great are still there. They will consider it a corner stone of Spiderman cinematic history.

I never had any of the first 3 Spidermans in steelbook packaging. I placed a preorder with Zavvi. Even if these get released in the USA I will keep my Zavvi orders in because they will come with lenticular magnets.

QUESTION:
-------------
Will Zavvi ship each of these 3 steelbooks separately in their usual individual small/tight carboard boxes -- or would they put all 3 steelbooks in one box?

I pre-ordered 1 & 2. I must continue the tradition of not owning Spider-Man 3 in any format.

Any word on the Amazing Spider-Man versions?

Got the trilogy steelbook but I think I will get these aswell. Spiderman was such a huge film when I was younger, everyone my age who was into superheroes just loved it so much.

The Amazing Spiderman steelbooks got released last month via HMV.

I love your screen ID, but that avatar photo is so wrong - LOL!

As poisonedyouth pointed out, both Amazing Spider-Man movies were released not long ago in the UK as exclusive steelbooks with lenticular magnets by HMV. The artwork matches the over all look of the upcoming Zavvi Spider-Man trilogy series, which also include lenticular magnets.

I don't know why I was expecting these to sell out fairly quickly, but glad they didn't.

I stuck an order in for all three of these. Never owned any of them on blu-ray, let alone steelbook. Spider-Man will always have a soft spot in my heart as it was the first superhero film I ever watched in the cinema. Many moons ago, now!

Thanks to both for the heads up about HMV. I see their site is UK shipping only though?

Edit: N/M I saw the same versions are coming out in Italy later this month so I just pre-ordered those from Amazon It.

I saw that but considering the alternative is to get ripped off on eBay, I'm fine without a lenticular.

Are we sure about that? The HMV listings have the same exact artwork as the Amazon.IT listings. It could be an HMV exclusive to the UK, but still released with the magnet at other retailers.

100%... no not THAT sure, but when it comes to stuff like that, they usually don't get stuff like that.

Would also like to know if these are the remastered versions or not. If not, I'm not double dipping on these. Any word?
