It's not irrelevant to his question but is inconsistent when coupled with the Target ad scan. As of this moment the prices on the Target website still show the same as post #2. So the website will be updated at some point and historically the regular blu ray is about $2-$3 cheaper than the steelbook offering

Had not received any email so upon checking my order at Target I found it is backordered with a delivery date now of 8-11? I pre-ordered this on 7-15 so I am somewhat perplexed by this news.

Mine says preparing as well, but with an estimated delivery date of 8/12. If that's the case, I may just try and cancel and pick it up day-of. Really looking forward to this one, so the less I have to wait, the better.

I was just able to to do a store pickup on this thing. I don't think I've seen store pickup offered this earlier on preorders, or at least with exclusives.

A little concerned that the employee will actually set aside the steelbook and not just the standard blu-ray copy though. I guess if I do it for lunch time, I might still have a chance to get a different copy if that doesn't work out. We'll see.

8:00am - AND It is ready for Pickup. *fingers crossed*

Uggh mine says Estimated Mon Aug 19 for delivery. I'll be away on vacation. I'm going to try and stop by the one near my house on my way home and hope they have it.

Edit: The store by me has it in stock. Just placed an in-store order. Hopefully they do grab the steelbook.

Stopped by my local Target on the way to the office and they had 4 copies available. One with a loose disk, One with damage and the other two in perfect shape. $19.99 also - Hope everyone is able to get one if they wanted one.

I was at my Target at store opening.They've started doing remodeling.Wonder if their media section will be cut down when finished.Anyway,they had five copies of the steelbook,one of which I got.

I just picked up mine with no problem. There was 6 when I went. The FS is brighter than the steel.

my target story (sigh):

placed order for in store pick up this morning - get confirmation email

7:55 am - get email item not found in store - order pending cancellation

7:56 am - check brickseek inventory checker - shows in stock my location

7:57 am - check target website on phone - shows in stock my location

8:00 am - enter store & ask for assistance... and the waiting begins...

8:25am - they FINALLY find their stock & bring me one...

i hate target
