I was looking for forward for this but I hate how they turned this into a team up show. Why call it peacemaker if there going yo have a team? Avengers and Justice League have screwed up the entire super hero genre. Cause everyone thinks the hero’s and villains need teammates.

That's one thing that bugs me about the CW shows, every hero needs a four-six member team in order to do their job but with that said this looks fun so I'll definitely be watching.

I suspect the reason it's become so common on superhero TV shows is the ability to use more characters for more drama and tension in various storylines. For example, seeing how many characters became regular or nearly regular in The Flash seemed to be leveraged mainly for creating more melodrama to stretch things out for the 22 or so episodes.

Overall I agree that I'd like to see more superhero shows of the solo variety. Sure there's support, cameos, and guests, but they should be that, not regulars - unless we're talking about shows specifically centered on teams like Doom Patrol or Titans.

Ha, I thought the exact opposite, Cena has great comedic timing. This show is getting fantastic reviews, can’t wait for the 4k, I hope!

Affleck seems like he's done with Batman. Fisher said he won't work with Hamada. Gadot is a movie away from finishing her WW trilogy. And they can't seem to get a Superman movie off the ground, so Cavil isn't really bringing any new fan investment from newer Superman sequels to help with a JL sequel.

I'm more interested in seeing how they adapt the Vigilante than Peacemaker. I've got the trade paperback written by Marv Wolfman and it was actually a pretty good read.

Based on the trailer kind of looks like they wrote him like Deadpool.

Peacemaker was awesome he was a likeable douchebag in the movie

I pretty much outright hated The Suicide Squad (at this point the only thing I've really liked from the DCEU is Aquaman and both Wonder Woman films - yes really - Snyder Cut's not a slouch either), but Peacemaker did leave an impression enough that I'm gonna check this out. The fact the trailers are funny too helps
