While it would be nice to see format war enders like Star Wars and LOTR trilogy, or even a Spiderman 1&2 set (highly likely, actually), I wouldn't be surprised to see a big title from Fox or Disney.

Yeah, I think my bets are on a big release from Disney. It's summer time. It's family time. I'm thinking Nemo or Cars, or something along those lines...?

well, IMO...since the site posted had both Kill Bill movies slated for august...

I'd consider that big news..

if that's it...I think there are still a good amount of people who may be let down....out of the people who are expecting something REAL big...

Changed my mind based on that HD DVD killer news from Blockbuster (see other thread). I guarantee it's Spiderman 1&2. No chance it's anything else.

I would have to agree with the Spider-man. I mean, it's pretty much a given that they will be coming out and and announcement now would mean probably and October or November release. Just in time for the holidays.

This is probably a stupid prediction but does anyone else think they may be announcing the specific dates for the Harry Potter and Ocean's films? If not I pretty much think they're gonna announce the Spider-Man release dates.

No, because IIUC it's supposed to be BD-exclusive news, and these titles would be for both formats.
