One thing I forgot

Slipcovers also help stop titles from being shoplifted, as it's impossible to get into the case with one on

Reminds me of a story my friend told me. A number of years ago he bought some DVD's from the military BX, The case was completely sealed and wrapped. Only when he opened it, he found an AOL disc inside. He had a hell of a time returning it, but since he is Airforce and so was the BX, the integrity issue allowed it. Finally convinced the manager.

My friends guesses someone at the packing place wanted this movie and replaced it with an AOL disc. I also add that maybe one was slipped in with the others as some kind of prank or act of disgruntlement.

It's bad enough to pay for AOL, let alone the disc.

i hate slipcover.... but nevertheless, I always keep anything that come with the original package. Everything that comes to my possession never leaves me. (except rubbish)
