I am a big time Shark movie lover. I didnt set any high hopes for this but believe me this is another bad Shark movie. Horrible cgi and bad direction ruined it. The shark looked quite decent in a few scenes though but in few scenes it looked angry too lol Since when do sharks show emotions on their face? Overall it has a horrible CGI except for few scenes. I cant believe when I saw the cgi Shark jumping out lol in the opening scene. It was like old gaming cgi. However its way better than the Shark Night. The only good movie after Jaws is still "The Reef".

I watched it last night and enjoyed it. After the laughable opening with a shark leaping out of the water it settles down a bit more realistically. There are some tense moments and a few jumps here and there. Better than expected with some good sound here and there. This is what Shark Night should have been.

Finished the movie. I thought it was pretty enjoyable, much better than those other crappy Asylum shark flicks.

Default Way better then most.

Excellent shark movie. I dont know what the reviewer was thinking about but the CGI is actually quite good. If youve seen Super Shark, then you know what bad CGI looks like. Scary and quite bloody. As a die hard fan of shark movies, this is one of the best.

I didnt get to see it in 3D, but I cant wait.

Much better.

The one girl with the black hair (the one caught stealing) was on that CW show called Secret Circle. I remember her because she is so damn yummy.

She's guess starring on "The Vampire Diaries" starting on episode 4 of this season; and If the filming dates for "Tomorrow, when the War Began Part 2" workout she'll be promoted to regular. Read it today and figured I might as well share, haha.

You should see her in one scene when she goes to get her bf's job back. The walk she does and her ass... perfection.

I'll admit.. it was her that got me to check the movie out in the first place. I like Shark movies but I figured it would be another piece of shit Asylum movie but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because of her and the things I want to do to her.

Anyone find this in Walmart stores this week? If so, what was the price on it? I'd like to buy it, but the $18.99 that Best Buy is asking seems a little steep.

I know the review is up, but just thought I'd throw my two cents in - here in Australia it's in cinemas (the same week the US Blu-ray is released no less), and just got back.

I concur with the 3D review - the 3D is amazing. The best since Hugo, I would wager. It's a wonderfully fun flick. Here's to more Australian/Singaporean coproductions!

Did anyone who owns the Blu find the inclusion of American accents odd at all?

Just watched it and am glad I did not buy it. Not that it's bad. It's sorta hard to recommend, but also damn hard to hate or even dislike. It will kill a lazy afternoon and at least mildly entertain most movie buffs. I am glad I watched it, but would not ever buy it. 2.5 to 3 outta 5 stars. It keeps your intrest while you're watching it, but I gotta feeling in a day or two I'll never give it a 2nd thought.

Watched last night in 3d. Was a bit of fun. 3D was great and i was surprised at how polished it was for a Aussie production. I dont know what all the hoo-haa is about the CGI. I thought the effects were great. I doubt the budget on this was that high so i think they did quite well. Some people just have to high expectations!!
