First... it was 1995.
Second, have you seen CG from 94/95? all of it was bad!
Mortal Kombat, Spawn (97) not to mention countless others.

Yeah, I'm aware the CGI from that period isn't great but most movies used it sparingly. The whole end fight in MMPH is mostly CGI though.

I don't care how bad the CGI is, I still want it on Blu-ray.

Just as I suspected.

Which is what I've been saying all along.
If you look at the 4k Thread I started for the '95 movie, it's all in there.

No iTunes Digital Copy+DigitalUHD voucher, no purchase.

*disclaimer: By Digital Copy, I do NOT mean DigitalUHD, DigitalHD or Digital UltraViolet, all of which are UltraViolet Digital Stream. In order for a movie to have a Digital Copy, it has to say on the slipcover or the Blu-Ray or 4K UltraHD case "Watch On iTunes" in addition to displaying UltraViolet. If any Blu-Ray package does not display this, then it doesn't have a Digital Copy.

Not *all* of it, just the tech was so new and unrefined that only the films with the biggest of budgets could have CG shots or elements and not look poor, in 1994 you had Forrest Gump and The Mask for example.

Most big FX movies still used a mix of practical & digital right up until the mid 2000s.

It's lower budget movies like the '95 Power Rangers that couldn't afford to use high quality practical, so they went with cheap all CG.

Yes it does. UV is the standard for Digital Copy.

iTunes is a proprietary attempt by Apple to control not only content, but the devices it can be played back on.

I'm hoping more movie studios allow UV only.

Seriously though, I was a fan of the original TV show back in the 90s ( I was 9 or 10) and was curious about seeing this one at least via a rental. I literally laughed out loud at your comment as it is what I expected.
I agree as I didn't care for La La Land. Don't know what all the hoopla was about?

bbwiscfan was being sarcastic. La La Land was my favorite film of 2016, and it is great for so many reasons. The music is phenomenal, and it has some beautiful choreography. It's a touching throwback to a bygone era, and a fitting homage to the classic musicals of the golden age of Hollywood. Perhaps you just don't care for musicals, and if so, your comment is even more pointless. Please don't turn this into a thread about how you don't like La La Land, not the right place for that. Start your own thread about how you hate incredible films that are universally loved.

FYI - Dolby Atmos on the German 4K Blu-ray, no Dolby Vision.

I thought it was okay.
