Can't find the app on the Roku store....hopefully it will be up this evening. Ready to browse the selection. I was so disappointed when Film Struck went away, so I've been looking forward to this for months.

Really disappointed they won't be available on Chromecast/PS4 from the start... hope the website actually works for me.

It's live on iOs and all Apple devices. I have it on my phone and Apple TV.

I don't care about streaming I pass on this service, I continue buying only physical format blu-rays, so some of my questions are:

How this can affect the physical format" ?
Criterion continue releasing BluRay's? they print less quantities now?
Same price on BluRay's?
People start to move streaming and selling his physical copies?

The Elephant Man is on the channel. That is great to see, and maybe a sign of physical media to be?

Downloaded on my iPhone and it says I don't have a subscription, though I do. However, Customer Support got back to me and in an amusing e-mail let me know that the official launch isn't until noon, EST, today.

Got it on my iOS device, though

Update 7PM EST - My Sony 900F now is equipped with the Criterion app. Found it through official App store.

Still says video can't be played because my device is connected to an external monitor (it isn't). Fantastic!

It's working on my iPhone, and I also downloaded it for my Kindle Fire via my ability to use Google Play, which I know is technically not for Amazon products. What's kind of annoying is that on my Kindle I can't pick up where I left off on a film. I started watching The Elephant Man on my lunch break, stopped it to browse a bit on the app, then when I went back it started from the beginning. On my iPhone I can continue watching from wherever I left off only on items I've viewed on my iPhone.

A bit annoying, but not the end of the world.

The app won’t allow you to cast or link your phone to a TV so this is pretty worthless to me right now. Shouldn’t have to buy a new piece of equipment to use the service when what I have already works!

Especially since Filmstruck was eventually compatible with Chromecast... pretty frustrating that we have to wait.
