Sorry to hear that.

I wanted to see for sure if this would be in 3D, so I went to my Cinemark .com website and went to movies out in theaters soon, then clicked on Advanced Tickets, and was happy to see there are 3D show times to choose from, confirming in the US Aquaman 2 will get a 3D version at theaters who show 3D. Great to see 3D show times! Hopefully more theaters and your theater get 3D showtimes in December.

Sometimes, if Cinemark doesn't play a film in 3D, I'll check Regal. They featured Dawn of the Dead 3D, but their projection was horrible for it. Dark, dimly lit and double imaged on the edges of the screen for the whole movie in 3D. I spoke to the
[Show spoiler]manager about it a couple times and the staff in the past, but they still haven't done anything to fix it. Haven't been to Regal since then. They're struggling as a franchise I heard financially, which stinks but they overcharge for ticket prices for tinny treble sounding speakers at the theater, terrible 3D projection consistently at every theater/showtime except for their Imax 3D theater which is properly calibrated/aligned, but nothing in 3D ever plays there most times anyway.

Yes, sorry to hear about that eselv73. But, that is not universal. Aquaman 2 in 3D is getting a wider release/more showings/more theaters here in St. Louis than The Marvels in 3D. I think there is a bet that Jason Momoa is a bigger draw. We'll see.

I've been seeing the TV spots for this movie today and it's definitely gonna be in 3D, but I wonder why David "cheapskate Zaslav decided to add 3D to this movir but not the other previous DC movies? Did he get tired of every DC movie since Suicide Squad being a financial failure. Wonder Woman 1984 may have been one of those failures but it did a bit better than Suicide Squad and at least it had 3D to it.

I wonder if he will release it on 3D Blu-ray or licence it to some other label to make money?

MEG 2 & this one need a 3D Blu-ray!

I would attributed his move to the 1.1 billion dollars the first AQUAMAN brought in. A higher amount than any other DC movie.

This has been discussed before, aquaman 2 had a budget for 3D way before zaslav took over, the other ones were under his control so there was no budget for the 3D conversions. Meg 2 was an exception not the rule (maybe a Chinese company foot the bill on the 3D conversion), so far Godzilla vs Kong 2 Will not have 3D so it will continue with zaslav’s policy on cutting down the budget.

I just binged a series on HULU and I was very much delighted with the new AQUAMAN tv spots. Every other one seemed to tout the 3D both IMAX & RealD 3D. They simulated frame breaking to drive home their point. They also claimed this was the best 3D since the original AVATAR.

I do enjoy some good frame breaks, but it baffles me a bit that the frame breaks are often stronger "3D" than their movies.

Right now, NBC is flogging its surreal "Hot Gurl Style" ad for the Paris Olympics, wherein a French-speaking winged horse spews fire at the screen by framebreak, if only we had stereoscopic 3D effects like that in modern movies...

Fingers crossed that Aquabro2 will have 3D as strong as its trailer suggests, if not stronger, that'd be a "flex" on Avatar 2.

Damn, no 3D showtimes here. i hope WB is nice enough to send all the keys together even though we wont have a booking for 3D, just like they did with Meg 2.

I'm so glad This is getting a 3D release. I thought DC/WB were done with theatrical 3D.

I'm crossing my fingers for a 3D BD release!!!

Unfortunately, no 3D blu ray listed among the German releases announced here

Thought Germany would have been a shoo-in for a 3D home release if anyplace was

Meg 2 didn't get a 3D blu ray in Germany so it seemed unlikely this would.

This is NOT the german release announcement. They only mentioned the FRENCH release info there. But after the "MEG 2" flat desaster it is very, very unlikely that there will be a 3D disc coming with the upcoming german release announcement.

Everyone here wanting a 3D home version, please write to Warner (!!!) This is the only chance we get some MOD disc, Vision Pro Stream, Turbine 3D disc, some day.

Best bet now is to show up on the Vision Pro next year along with Meg 2 and other titles.

I wouldn’t be surprised if potential Vision Pro 3D content were hacked and burned onto disc by those with the technological knowledge to do so…after all they seem to do so with Vudu/streaming 3D pretty easily so this isn’t impossible…that said, I’m still hoping for an official 3D bluray release…

I thought IMAX was done with the 3D format since Dunkirk when they said after the success of that movie they didn't need 3D anymore. Just saw in a TV spot tonight for this film that it was gonna be in IMAX 3D is the first movie in years where it's being promoted for IMAX 3D. Not even Avatar 2 in any of the trailers or TV spots I've seen was never promoted for being in IMAX 3D only Dolby.

With Avatar, Cameron prefers Dolby so that is his premium format of choice.
