Anyone have any idea if these are going to be in stores on release day? Will Target, Best Buy and Walmart have these? I just wasn't sure since it's not necessarily a "big" release. I'd like to pick it up on release day, but I'd be a bit disappointed if the stores didn't have them, and I'd have to wait for an order from Amazon.

I'm sure somewhere will have it, but if it's anything like Hocus Pocus it seems unlikely to found in every store. I'm assuming that it'll be in stock a lot more in November/December.

I checked Bestbuy.com yesterday and typically they will show movies that are expected to be in. They did not have the trilogy but listed the individual movies for $19.99 each...

Personally, ill buy it from amazon since i wont watch them until X-mas season...

I'd seen complaints in the past the the previous DVD set of all 3 films was only available as full screen (or 2 of the 3 movies were), but I haven't heard anything about the Blu-rays. Where did you hear about that?

Saw it on both Walmart's and Bestbuy's site yesterday, but today I can't find it. I did not pre-order for this reason (seemed to be some confusion as to what they were actually releasing...lol),.
I will still wait until release day and inspect personally prior to purchase and with Disney's history with this franchise, I think that's a wise decision.

Hopefully they post a reviewo n the site so we can see ahead of time what the deal is. It's hard to believe that they'd release these as full screen Blu-rays, but I guess anything is possible.

No way these will be "full screen" Disney isn't that bad lol. I am sure it will be a reasonable upgrade from the DVDs...

With Disney, don't be so sure. Same company that failed to include "If I Never Knew You" on the latest Pocahontas bluray release. And from what I've read, will not be including "When Love Is Gone" on the upcoming Muppet Christmas Carol bluray release. Anything is indeed possible.

We're talking about completely different things here. Disney's video presentations are always top notch, and I doubt The Santa Claus will suffer from such a foolish thing as 'full screen'.

Walmart's site now posts it as widescreen while Best Buy is just blank now with regard to the formatting.

A full screen Blu-ray set just doesn't make any sense. Can someone mention an instance where a widescreen movie has ended up full screen (pan and scan) on Blu-ray? I'm personally not familiar with a single instance so this has me skeptical.

Well its not like they cut anything from the THEATRICAL release.
Yes I would have loved If i never knew you included in the movie itself.
But failing to present the 10th anniversary cut on the movie is not the same as only providing a full screen version of a film.

"if i never knew you" is on the pocahontas blu-ray, it's just separate from the main movie.

So excited for next week. I think I'll just be buying the first movie; it's one of my all time favorite Christmas movies.
