Funny, They printed the graphic over 2 closed steelbooks. The part of the graphic on the right is probably the back cover of the steelbook where the bullet goes in or either the whole steelbook minus the front cover will be covered in the circuit board design.

For this they will be doing exclusive slipcovers. (Most likely)
Since the only ones they didnt do it for was the Avengers movies.
For example they didn't do it for Avengers Assemble and Avnegers Age of ultron, so what I'm saying is that won't be doing any exclusive slipcovers for any of the avengers movies.
They've done it for Thor Dark World, Winter Soldier, Guardians of he Galaxy.
Just my speculation.

WS had Cap/Widow/Fury/Falcon
GOG had the team

Do u think there would be a demand for Yellowjacket?
There aren't any compelling supporting roles in Ant-Man...compared to the slips we got for the other films.

Hank Pym slip would be kinda cool but..........

Yup yup. Hard to think of what different slipcovers could even look like for Ant-Man. For Age of Ultron there were lots of options obviously, I have to wonder if Wal-Mart spoiled on the idea after GOTG. I remember seeing lots of posts of people taking the slipcovers, or putting them over the cheaper 2-disc non-slipcover edition.

Avengers had alternate slipcovers too. The 3D lenticular gold one, the blue slipcover, and wasn't there an exclusive for Target that was gold but with different art?

Oh jeez. Let's hope Best Buy and Marvel do what they did with Age of Ultron and don't repeat the insanity that went down with the Guardians of the Galaxy steelbook.

Then again, maybe since Ant-Man was considered to be a lesser Marvel film at the box office, the scalpers won't go nearly as ape poop as they did with GotG.

Oh God, don't start the slipcover rumors for this movie, please!!! The lying almost overtook the Avengers AoU thread, especially because it led everyone to think they were coming as 100% fact and people kept asking every 2 days.

Realistically, I don't think they could do character slipcovers for this, nor would there be any demand. Maybe one for Yellowjacket, but who else are you going to do? Nope Van Dyne? Fake Luthor? Michael Pena and beady-eyed guy from The Dark Knight?

Easy pass on that steelbook, it's ugly as hell, just like the GotG one. Guess I'll just be getting the standard 3D release, which is fine being that I already spend a ton on Marvel blu-rays. Although if they did character slips, the only one I'd be interested in would be Hope.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 2D and 3D BD releases of Ant-Man both came in red cases like Avengers: Age of Ultron did.
