Mummy has grossed almost $400M worldwide on a reported $125M spend and that's a decent return by any standard, although (as with Terminator Genisyysysns) the poorer US takings will have eaten into the net proceeds somewhat.

True, let me re-phrase that. "He must be pissed that both The Mummy and Jack Reacher 2 underperformed in the US, and would rather spend his time focused on his next huge hit than recording the commentary tracks for two of his weaker domestic films."

When the trailer came out my friends and I couldn't stop making fun of that ridiculous scream and how bad this looked. We decided we would save it for a movie night when we could drink and make fun of it at home. How bad is it that I'm ready to spend $30 on the 4K to do that and have it in the best possible quality? LOL

It's a fun flick IMO. The infamous scream isn't in the movie though (the scene is, but that particularly goofy scream sure isn't ) and there's a cracking zero-g sequence in the plane when it's crashing which is just classic Cruise, wanting to do it for real.

The movie is so bad, it's not even fun IMHO... it's a chore.

Do you mean Tom Cruise's scream when the plane crashes, cause that sounds weird as hell. I hope that's not actually in the movie...

Other than that the trailer looked liked the type of movie of which you exactly know what to expect: mindless Hollywood popcorn fun. Looking forward in seeing this.

It wasn't sure if wanted to be dark or a comedy lol. But the CGI...no excuse for that in 2017.

Don't listen to them, it's typical modern action movie hokum with some neat action scenes and a nice line in ripping off certain aspects of An American Werewolf in London, if you're so inclined.
