I’m liking this, but not loving it… yet. It’s got a lot of potential, though. Overall, I’d give it a 7/10.

Also, that was one rushed and underwhelming battle.

During the final I have to thought about Miami Vice to. Over all I liked it a lot and the ending was mean

Not quite as iconic as that Miami Vice scene, but still a good use of Phil Collins.

But yes, the fight did all seem to be over very quickly. A bit of the old Rambo came out there at the end.

Solid ending to a solid season. Bring on season 2.

People really seem to love Stallone in this one.

It's an entertaining show but it's not a well-written show. It's like an R-rated Walker, Texas Ranger.

I think in Dwight’s mind the death was on the ones that chained the guy up, set the fire and left the guy to die. He was just delivering mercy to the guy.

That said, I really liked Manfredi's speech about fear and family. Sounded like something Rocky would say after winning a match.

Wait, so episode 9 was it? For some reason I thought it was supposed to be 10 episodes.

IMDb lists a 10th episode scheduled for January 15 @ https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16358384/episodes?season=1

If that's true, then that's great, because episode nine would have been a very weak episode to end the season. Hopefully episode ten is better than whatever nine was.

I hope so. I did notice a post by Domenick Lombardozzi on Instagram that does make it seem like the season might be over.

I really liked Taylor Sheridan's early films up to the sloppy and horribly miscast Those Who Wish Me Dead but I gave up on Yellowstone after a couple of series as it had many moments building serious drama and then destroying all credibility with scenes that would have resulted in imprisonment for all concerned.

Tulsa King just goes all out unbelievable from the start. Made 10 years earlier it could have been fun but Stallone looks like a 75 year old with a lot of plastic surgery and a dead mammal on his head and sounds like he's had a stroke. As such, going round extorting, punching people a third his age and generally behaving in a way that would have him arrested, hospitalised or dead very quickly is too silly to have any credibility at all.

In the preview for episode 9 it literally has giant letters at the top saying "NEXT WEEK ON THE SEASON FINALE..."

There is no episode 10.

It was a very weak season finale so I get that I and others wish there was a 10th episode to properly try and wrap it up.
