We know the TNG films are gonna happen, First Contact being done already and streaming now until July. I wonder though, does anyone know if Nemesis was a DI? Might mean those releases aren’t that far off if one’s done and another only needs an upscale and HDR pass, that’s half the movies done.

If a new boxset is indeed happening, hopefully they find a way to include those bonus discs from the earlier sets, or at least the content from them - would hate for The Journey to the Silver Screen and The Captains' Summit to be left behind, so to speak.

I have it preordered from BullMoose.com and if it ends up just being this, I’ll cancel because I already own the recent soundtrack release. Personally, I’m hoping it’s anything but that. I’d love a detailed model of the sexiest version of the ENTERPRISE there’s ever been.

For $110 you get both cuts in 4k, both on Blu-ray, bonus disc, the 2001 DVD, a DVD of the SLV, full size poster, the novelization, the soundtrack, the comic adaptation, clippings of some of the newspaper comic strip from the time, Kolinahr necklace, communicator watch, all the Happy Meal toys and boxes, a cassette tape of the leaked audio Stephen Collins’ confession to sexually abusing children and the issue of People magazine where he confirms the same.

This has been rather common for many of Paramount's UHDs while not lowering the price of course.

Yes, but the MSRP is $36.99 -- which is higher than the other 5. Perhaps it has the Theatrical on UHD included -- but the art doesn't make that claim. Also all the extras would be put on the UHD disc?

Also I wonder if the Blu-ray version of the director's Edition will be part of the Paramount presents line. They did that with Days of Thunder. They released the Blu-ray as a Paramount presents and they released UHD version as 4K only with no Blu-ray.
