Just talked to Vizio and they said the 65 will come out sometime early next year AND the 72 will follow right after the 65 debut

Ditto on that. I have been waiting for awhile for the 72" to come out. A neighbor of mine is almost blind and he wants the 72' so he can see a TV just a little better.

I gave up waiting! One promise after another, that's just BS!
The 72" would have been great but it is not gonna happen in the near future!
If I want something, then i want it now and not in 2 Years or so!!! It is already hard enough to wait for a blu-ray release of a movie which you really want!!!!

The world doesn't need another 60" or smaller display - it's time for a manufacturer to get into the big leagues at an affordable price. Sorry, the 70" Sony XBR7 at $20 grand doesn't count. Won't someone step up?

If you want a 72" it is gonna cost a whole lot more ($15,999) than $3499 and have a NuVISION logo on it.

So someone must be making the glass for these.

Probably LG. They released a model in China or something and I believe they are also supplying the glass or panel for the Konka 72" set that is also available in China.
Next year, LG should have a 72" set released here in the US.
