WTF?!?! The Red Shoes canceled? - Blu-ray Forum

I had ordered "The Red Shoes" from Amazon UK, and just today got an email saying:

"Greetings from Amazon.co.uk.

We regret to report that the release of the following item has been cancelled:

Marius Goring, et al "The Red Shoes [Blu-ray] [1948]"

We are no longer able to offer this item for sale. Our supplier has informed us that this item has been discontinued and is no longer available."

It's an HMV exclusive, so if you want it you'll have to get it from there.

Well, shoot... why did Amazon.uk have it up with a delivery date then? Oh well, any ideas on when Criterion will do their US co-release on the title?

I think it was only recently announced as an HMV exclusive, so other retailers were taking preorders up until then. Can't help with your Criterion query though, sorry.
