Default Indy 5 in Progress...

Source: Frank Marshall From: Empire Magazine

Just the other day, Shia LaBeouf claimed that Stephen Spielberg had figured out a story for a fifth INDIANA JONES adventure.

This would seem to be corroborated by the series producer Frank Marshall, who recently made this claim via Twitter: "The story for Indy5 is progressing. It is still in the research phase."

Bear in mind that the fourth archaeologist tale took over a decade of "progressing" before it arrived at what we received last summer (assuming you define that as "progress"), so this could still be a ways off.

But Marshall also tells Empire: "It's really about the script" (which again implies the last one was also). "Once we see that, we'll see. We're not going to wait another 20 years. We had a great time making the last one and, as Harrison said, we need to make this one soon. We're not getting any younger."

They've done famous religious artifacts, interdimensional aliens and glowing rocks (and the MUMMY movies did a number on various other antiquities)... is there anything left to unearth? Besides Hell itself? Hmmm... could the good doctor be taking the works of Dante literally? Is Belloq waiting for him below?

A quest for the fountain of youth would be appropriate.

There are still lots of things he can look for:

Amelia Earhart
D. B. Cooper
The Confederate Gold
Elvis
Obama's Birth Certificate

I believe Indy 6 has already been named as "Indiana Jones and the Lost Viagra".
