John Adams (HBO - Released June 2009) - Blu-ray Forum

Hi,

New member .. first time poster.

I just received and watched the Blu-ray version of "John Adams" .. on my Pioneer Elite BD-05 player. Since I do have other Blu-ray DVD's and have noticed a longer LOAD time (as opposed to regular DVD players) .. but the "John Adams" DVD load time is far more extensive. However, the most frustrating part is when I click "Menu" to return to Chapter & Scene Selections .. the LOADING process begins all over again. I'd be most interested in hearing from anyone who is (or has) experienced same.

I just installed the newest version of Pioneer BD-05 Firmware .. hoping this would correct the situation .. but it did NOT. Still same frustrating scenario.

I don't have John Adams on blu yet so I can't diagnose the problem. I would have said update the firmware but you already did. I'm sure someone who has the set can shed some light on it.
