Myself & the family go to the local park for the annual fireworks show.

I also usually take the 3rd off and have a movie fest (not necessarily 4th of July based movies). Been doing this for the last 12 years or so since ID4 came out on laser disc (uhh, he said laser disc

). This year the 4th lands on a Saturday so I automatically get the 3rd off

. On the menu for this round:

The Patriot (I always start with this one)
The Rock
Live Free or Die Hard
ID4 (I always end with this one)

Same as we do every year. We go to my aunties house to eat, swim, and shoot fireworks! Now that my family (dads side) arrived from out of the country and now living in the US the house and pool will be packed!

Have you ever gone downtown to The Landing and watched the fireworks from there? Usually a pretty good show.

You in the Jax area? Yes, I've watched the fireworks there back in 2006. Great show, but hated going home due to the traffic

Yeah, when I'm home.

Traffic is awful, especially after a Jaguar game. I'm hoping all the construction will help... if they ever finish.

we are gonna help out my in-laws, my father-in-law had a stroke about a year and a half ago, midway through his patio/sidewalk project.

we're gonna finish it for him, have a grill out and then take the kids to see fireworks!!!

BBQ, party at friends house, last year they had a combined total of 6k worth of fireworks! Blew my mind how much they spent.
