We've seen concept art, we've seen behind the scenes footage, and now we finally get the official teaser trailer for the upcoming French zombie film called "The Horde." Check it out below.

Plot: North of Paris. In order to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, four corrupt cops go on a rampage in a condemned building serving as the mobster's hideout. Now trapped, the officers are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Unexpected alliances are made when their lives are threatened by the unthinkable.

"The Horde" is directed by Yannick Dahan and written by Benjamin Rocher. Both are making their feature film debut. At this point their movie has yet to be picked up by a US distributor.

I didn't think it was bad. A bit of a depressing ending, some stupid character actions, but well done fx work. If you like these kinds of movies give it a go.

I'm planning on importing the Canadian Blu-ray if a US Blu-ray isn't announced.

could not finish it ( and that is rare ) - so damn stupid film. no particular reason, it looked awful, cast the same, plot - what plot ? CGI - terrible .... argh, I`d say : avoid !

Nefilim, the film was plagued with productions problems. I read that they ran out of money at one point and were asking for people donate to finish it. And supposedly the studio did their own edit of the film, which I am not sure is the version that is out there. The studio heads supposedly didn't like it. But, I'm all for watching a French zombie horror. There isn't much of those, I don't think.
