Default LG 360/370 Mini Review

After my Samsung 1400 kept giving me more trouble than it was worth, I picked up the LG 360 at my local Costco in Winnipeg. I am using it with my Samsung 40" LCD 720p tv. It is the same as the 370, except for the exterior design. The owner's manual has both models on the cover. The LG was easy to set up. For me, the Youtube feature or streaming features are of no interest. I just wanted a reliable Blu ray player. The 360 has played all my Blu ray movies so far with no problems. Standard defintion movies looked fine. I have seen online that some people have said that the picture of the 360/370 is inferior to the LG 390. Though I haven't seen the 390, I'm more than pleased with the picture of my player. Movies like Kingdom of Heaven were crystal clear and A Bug's Life had a 3D depth to it. The LG loaded Blu rays very quickly; the 1400 was such a slug in comparison. I could also bypass the Disney previews and go straight to the menu. I have not detected any lip synch issues with this player. All in all, I can easily recommend this player. For a price tag in the mid $200 CDN, it is a really good value.
