I use it and it is safe. Just make sure that the screen is cool when you use it to avoid streaks on the panel.

I use my own mix of 40% isopropyl alcohol and 60% distilled water with a microfiber cloth. Those two ingredients are pretty much what most LCD cleaners consist of. Turn off your LCD, let it cool down, put a small amount on the microfiber cloth, and wipe gently. Works great. Streaks happen when you use regular water which contain minerals.

Not purposely, but the bezel does usually get wiped down after the panel is clean with the same cloth.

Id stay away from the Monster Screen Clean. They have warnings even on the box about TV's... Use what your manual says, most of the time its just water and the micro cloth..

What are you doing; stalking me now??? Because you think you were right on another thread; you have to follow me all over the board, and try to prove how smart you are?? You are wrong here; too fella. If you use a less abrasive paper towel like Viva; when wet it's perfect for cleaning your tv.

You should use micro fiber cloth to clean, especially for the with the glossy bezel (Samsung, Sharp) brands... MC screen cleaner is good, but you can buy the same thing at Radio shack for a lot less ... Some of the RR stores in my area have the Targus clearance for less than $2 ...

Says you!

So whats one to do when a 4 year old brat touches your screen; huh?!? A damp Viva paper towel and light pressure will got it off. That little peice of material that came with your tv isnt going to get sticky finger prints off, and chemicals may damage your screen.

It's no different than a computer monitor screen; infact that's all it is. Working on PCs for several years; that's what I have used instead of chemicals, and some $3-$5 piece of 4''x4" peice of cloth.
