Why will they not release them on Blu. Do they not support Blu overseas

I'm still really disappointed by this, been following the series for a long time and was looking forward to the blu-ray release, but it looks like we will never get it now.

no it really sucks don't know what the studios over here are thinking it almost looks like they don't support the format so much

Why are you all so absolutely CERTAIN that Dexter will NEVER come to region B Blu-ray?

It's a popular show so surely it's simply a matter of time before it gets a region B release!

Dexter is worth the cost of a region A player. So just buy a new player and enjoy one of the best shows on TV in HD quality!!!

but can a region A player function on our system in europe we have PAL system but US have NTSC will that affect the outcome of a region A player to play on the system in europe?

On a modern TV it should be fine. Most PAL TVs have had NTSC playback for 10 or so years, and I don't its even an issue if using a digital connection (HDMI).

thanks that good to know. because i think it is definetely cheaper to buy a region a player then a region free player

And a PS3 is great for streaming downloaded material from your PC and Mac. I'm just waiting for Sony to get it into their heads that they have to get support for .mkv files...

When that happenes the PS3 will be the ultimate media entertainment center.

^ PS3 Media Server can mux MKV on the fly so the PS3 can play the files. It's awesome.

It's distributed by Paramount, same as in the USA. Why there's no hint of a blu ray release and the US releases are region locked is anybody's guess.
