I saw The Verve in 1995 and in 1998. Both times it was mesmerizing and unfogettable.
So far it's just a tour in the UK for November, but the fact that Nick McCabe is back with them too, the original four, is very, very freaking exciting! One of the best bands ever to see live.

The Verve, Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones and Pete Salisbury were back recording together in a London studio last week.

After a summer break, they will return to the studio to complete their next album. The Verve will also return to the live arena in November, playing 6 shows in the UK.

Yes, yes, yes. New Verve music and another chance to see them live. I said at New Years Eve 2005 that I predicted The Verve would get back together before the end of the decade. I am so glad I was right.
