I read about that yesterday. I think messing around with nature has repercussions, since everything we do always have a downside to it. I say leave it alone.

The only way that Bill Gates would be able to stop a hurricane is if he piled up all the computers that blue screened over the years and all the RRoD 360's.

That should be more than sufficient to stop a hurricane, hell, stacked end-on-end he could just make a staircase to the moon.

lol. The idea is cool by the way, cooling water down before the hurricane reaches that area and then that affects the hurricane and slows it down. Still its messing around with nature. I wonder what would be the side affect of doing that? Its scary.

let alone like you said he couldn't help fix a simple problem with the RROD 360's and computer issues. Yeah that would be great to let someone mess around with the nature and he haven't been successful at fixing Video Game Consoles.
