Default Can't get Bluray to display at 1080p on my computer?

Whenever I play a Bluray with PowerDVD 8.8, the resolution is around 720x480, which is much lower than the desired 1920x1080 resolution.

Here's my setup:
core i7, geforce 8600 gts (with latest drivers), dvi-d cable connecting to a Samsung T240HD (1920x1200 max resolution), and this bluray drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106326

Is there something deficient in my hardware? If not, anyone know why I can't get anything about standard DVD resolution to play?

Hi!

Welcome to the forum!

I don’t think I can really help you - could be something simple like an update is required? Or even manually changing the resolution for playback?

Hope you sort it soon!
