Jackie Brown is what I consider his best. The cast is impeccable and I will argue better than Pulp Fiction's cast. The music is fantastic. The script is sharp(but all of his are really). Plus it has one of my favorite movie scenes of all time with Jackie driving away from Max and listening to "Across 110th Street" by Bobby Womack, one of my favorite songs all-time. Plus you gotta admit Pam Grier looks awesome for her age in that movie.

What's going to happen when you run out of Actors/Directors you want to know the best film of?

Start taking requests or something or just stop?

Note: This is me actually asking, not trying to thread crap.

Actually, I've never even seen a full Tarantino movie. None of them ever looked good to me, but thats just my opinion. I've seen a little bit of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill though, didn't like either.

I'm also more of a "I've seen a bunch of this actor's movies" guy than a "I've seen a bunch of this director's movies" guy.

Jackie Brown because it has DeNiro and a great soundtrack.

Speaking of Tarantino movies what happened to the release of Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown? It was announced back in April they would be released on August 4, 2009 and now they are both showing no release date. I had to check the news archives to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

Oh wow!!! Man u should give Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown a chance!! Real Talk!! Like the guy above mentioned: Jackie brown has an amazing cast and great script! The guy has talent!! Also I used to only follow the actors as well, but recently I try to also focus on the director to!! When a new movie drops and if its a good director, it usually gives the movie credibility as a great actor would!! Got Em!!

Guess his movies just aren't my style/taste

I don't really follow what director is doing what very closely compared to actors. But if they direct a movie I like (or better yet several movies I like) I will start to pay attention more and more to what they work on (Chris Nolan for the most recent example).

Kill Bill Vol. 1 is my personal favourite. Brilliantly directed, great action and an excellent cast.

Full Order:

1. Kill Bill V.1
2. Reservior Dogs
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Kill Bill V.2
5. Jackie Brown
6. Death Proof

I haven't seen Inglorious Basterds yet so the list isn't fully complete.

Pulp Fiction's his best for sure, but I've pretty much loved everything he's done so far.

I can't believe that anyone would think that Pulp Fiction isn't even a "good" movies. It's probably the most influential film since Citizen Kane.

I think the reason for this thread is because Quintin Tarantino is one of the most influential directors of the last twenty years. Every single one of his movies is a masterpiece in its own way. Asking people what their favorite is just provides in site and ideas that we, the people who absolutely adore his movies like talking about. I guess some people just need more substance to movies than explosions and tits.

I can see how some directors' films, you may have a hard time talking about. Especially considering most action movies these days have throw-away directors with little or no talent.
