The Official Emotiva Audio Speakers Thread - Blu-ray Forum

Couldn't find any threads about Emotiva speakers and it doesn't look like there is an official thread yet. Sorry if I am mistaken.

The amps get a lot of talk but I haven't heard anything about the speakers on the forum. Does anyone have them? I'm curious. I think the 8.3s look fantastic.

I'm kind of interested in them from my music room, but hate to drop coin for a 5.1 system without listening to them.............

Good evening car. The only advise I could give you is to let your ears decide. This unfortunately is the only option with ID companies. One could say they sound great but they may not to you. I see you want to have a dedicated music room. May I ask why 5.1 and not 2.1 or 2.0?

The other end of this room is just as deep (this picture is only 1/3 of the room) with a couple cut-outs like a big "T." The reason for the 5.1 was that I plan to add a 55" flat screen to wall, and wanted 5.1, but maybe a good 3.1 system will do...........

When I get back from China I will look into this more.

Wow this is the official Emotiva speakers thread and there is barely any posts here? What about their XRT line? No one has anything to share about those!? :O

All the factory-direct speaker companies are listed HERE. Some of them have a liberal return policy for in-home audition.
