for some crazy reason Bestbuy is selling Trick r Treat for 37.99 and futureshop has it for 29.99 so PM to get it for 27.99 which is probably the cheapest around.

shipping is free if you can find a bit more to add to your cart to go over 40.00

having said that it sounds like you wouldnt want to wait 9 to 12 days (those are just estimates by the way...i've had dvds shipped next day that said 9 to 12 days before)

Just got an email from Amazon.ca saying my order has been delayed. So I just cancelled it and will just PM at Best Buy for $27.99 (rather get it now and pay $1 more than wait).

Has anyone considered checking WM? I think they have it there but I didn't pay attention to the price. I found Freddy Vs Jason (US release) which no other store carried.

I went into my Wal-mart in Stouffville...of course they have the dvd of Trick 'r Treat, and no blu-ray version

But what really got me was the price of the dvd itself...something like $32 f-ing ridiculous

best buy has the US release of freddy vs jason, i saw it yesterday when i got trick r treat

Ya. I couldn't find it at both my BB/FS. I walked into Wal Mart and found it there. It is probably the same price at both places. I paid 23.

The stupid thing is that both the old one and the new one have the same cover art. The only way you can tell if its different is the back. The new one has a special features banner while the old one doesn't. Wish they would put some kind of marking on the front.

ya i bought the alliance release, it was only 14 bucks and i have the dvd that has allthe special features anyways so i wasnt to worried.

picked it up at best buy yesterday (pm'ed of course, plus i had a $5 off coupon).

i'd been looking forward to this movie forever and it lived up to my expectations. great halloween flick. the $25 gift certificate inside the case for sideshow collectibles is a pretty neat freebie, especially considering i wasn't expecting it at all. unfortunately, you can't use it for the sam figure that's advertised on the insert.

I used it on the Sam figure. Though unfortunately it's on backorder and their not expected to get new ones in and ship until December but whatever I can wait.

Alliance actually re-released Freddy vs. Jason with all the special features on Tuesday. Like what they did with Sin City. Its the same as the US release but Alliance released it in Canada.

I'm really anxious to check out Trick R Treat, and called by my Oshawa Wal-marts, neither of which could find it, so they said they don't have it.

They might. I believe FS/BB just adds the shipping on top if they are price matching Amazon (which I think is AMZ).

yeah they did re release it but its also 24 bucks instead of 14....i dunno about you but the special features are not worth 10 bucks to me

I picked up Trick r' Treat yesterday on my way home from work(got it at Best Buy). It was 27.00. Watched it last night and the wife and I loved it. This would have been great to see in the theater.

The DVD edition at Walmart was around $38 plus taxes. At least that's what it said on the tag.
