Okay. So, this project was spawned out of curiosity. Too much curiosity. Originally, I felt like getting an idea of another upgrade to my system. So, I tossed around some ideas with Brett about one of the sketch-ups he sent me for a single 19Ov.2 project. I thought it would be a great idea and would certainly fit my space. After a long conversation with Brett later on, I was convinced dual 19Ov.2's would be much crazier, so I opted for that option so long as I could sell my A2-300. Lucky me, I got to sell my A2-300 locally within two days of posting it for sale.

Brett had within a few days my design for a DIY A7-900...tuned to 15hz. Dimensions were 49" wide, 36" tall, and 24" deep. Needless to say, I was incredibly psyched. Without getting too detailed in the enclosure build, I can say the build was very time consuming and tedious. Everything was assembled in my garage with your everyday tools. It took around a week to complete. The bracing makes the enclosure tougher than a boulder. I can only speculate as to how heavy the enclosure is now, which is probably well over 200lbs.

I plan on getting the enclosure to look nice, eventually. I think I'll be going for a piano black finish. That's a whole other project in of itself though. I will definitely have the subwoofer installed and connected by the end of this week. I will also post my impressions.
